Pelargonium sidoides, also known as African geranium, is a medicinal plant used to deal with acute bronchial problems, mucous, sputum, . It may also act as an immune system booster, and alleviate symptoms of the common cold and fever blisters. In some clinical studies it was also showed beneficial on a  stomach bacteria that can lead to ulcers.
